Even teenagers who have a growing relationship with Christ are caught in the crossfires of the mixed messages hurled at them. While most of them fully embrace the Gospel’s message of forgiveness, Wake’s aim is to introduce students to the often misunderstood other half of the Gospel—the resurrected Life of Jesus that He freely gives to the believer by grace through faith. Wake Conference will steer students away from lies and correct errors about the consequences of their behavior and performance and will reestablish a confidence in God’s love for them. They will leave the weekend empowered to walk in their resurrected life.
